The Beach is what it's all about for this Duo

Thomas is the bass man. When you see this cat play, you know right away he has schooling. He's a Berkley Music Grad and lays it down thick and groovy. Thomas has been in the Destin area longer than Jay B, but the two met in 2002. As Jay B describes there first Gig together: " I was jamming and jumping around with the crowd and when I looked over, Thomas was Jamming and Jumping around and I knew I had found my new Bass player". As fate would have it, both Thomas and Jay B were geeking (writing computer code, etc.) on the side. So the guys clicked on and off the stage.

"We're jammin' and diggin' it here on the Emerald Coast... so many good times and great people we've met here... it's a blast."

The B Boyz

Jay B does vocals and guitar. He also programs all the drum parts. As for his roots: rock, blues and his "reggae thang" elaborating he states; "it all started on a cruise ship trip to Jamaica", after which the duo was created and they added several Marley tunes to their already diverse and extensive repertoire. Settled in Destin, FL Jay B has been fairly prolific, forming, of course, the B Boyz (Duo), Blind Vibe' (Trio) and his band The Blinders, as well as doing Solo gigs... Jay B keeps pretty busy. The B Boys do more Beach and Reggae. The Blinders more Blues and Rock! Blind Vibe' is Blues-z-Reggae to straight Blues. As Jay B says, "no matter what group I always try to kill it. Worth mentioning, Jay B is the leader of the bands. When I look at the people and see them laughing, dancing and having fun... then, I feel like I am doing my job, well."

Together these two tighten it up and display their talent and professionalism and always have fun doin' it.
